an average Wednesday in quarantine part one

Last night, I stayed up late doing the Mardi Gras murders escape-the-crate with my parents. I slept in late this morning and then went to PE. We did windmills and skaters, wheel-kicks and bicycles. I made another poem.

I don't like virtual school. 
I thought PE would be dull
But it is funner
Than one would think
Because I  can use stilts afterwards.

Yes, my dad made me some stilts. They are fun.

There once was an astronaut

Who definitely would not 

Take off her suit

On an EVA walk

Because she was told she would die

I want to go to space 

I want to solve the case

Of COVID-19

Because it is mean

To keep kids away from school

Should I drive some cars

Or reach for the stars

Or go to the moon

Or weave on a loom

I think I should just stay at home

It's the ISS

The pie with no mess

It is international

I can’t rhyme with that!

Does this even sound like a poem?

COVID-19 is mean

Jim Lovell is awesome

And not a opossum 

And he has flown to the moon

I love to read books 

And I do not look

When I am reading

Easter under quarantine (with Vostok 1)

    Today is Easter of 2020. It is also the fifty-ninth anniversary of the spaceflight Vostok 1. It was crewed with Yuri Gagarin. That was the first manned spaceflight. last night. I saw the movie titanic. It was pretty good, but not the best way to celebrate the launch of Apollo 13. This morning, I woke up and did an egg hunt all by myself. Then, Mom and I made some chocolate ice cream. Later, we will see my cousins for dinner at their house.That is all for Easter under Quarantine.
